The Bell Road Dentistry Team Dressed As Scary Characters for This Halloween
Halloween is a day of costumes, tricks, and treats, especially scary costumes and sugary treats. However, there are some dentist-approved ways to celebrate this spooky season without endangering your smile.
Although we decided to dress up frighteningly this year at Bell Road Dentistry, Dr. Nielsen and his dental team know there are plenty of ways to celebrate Halloween without being scary for your teeth or oral health.
Including healthy versions of your favorite treats like hot cider made with real apples and spiced cinnamon sticks or adding fiber-filled pumpkin puree to your pancake mixes can make this celebration a healthier and more delicious experience for you and your family.
Just remember to avoid dried or candied fruits as they are sticky and contain much more sugar than raw fruits, and always choose dark chocolate over others. Yes, indulge in chocolate! The higher the cocoa content or, the darker the chocolate, the better for your health.
